Drawing and detailing services in India
Clear, buildable drawings prepared alongside the work, so what is drawn on paper is what gets built on site.
What it is
Drawings are how a project is explained to the people who build it. Good drawings show every dimension, level and detail clearly, so the site team does not have to guess and the work is done once.
We prepare drawings and detailing for the work we build and for other projects. Because our engineers and supervisors work on site every day, the drawings are written with the site in mind: how it is set out, how it is built and in what order.
Where it is used
- Residential buildings, townships and bungalows
- Commercial and institutional buildings
- Industrial structures and fabrication work
- Land development, retaining and boundary work
What to share before we start
- Your brief and the scope of drawings you need
- Existing drawings, sketches or site plans
- Site location and survey details
- Approvals and specifications that apply
- The date you need the drawings by
How we run it
We start from your brief
We read your brief, the existing drawings and the timeline, then agree what will be drawn and in what order.
Drawn with the site in mind
Our engineers and supervisors know how the work is built, so details are drawn to be built.
Reviewed with you
You see the drawings before they are issued, and your comments are worked in.
Issued for construction
The final set is issued with a drawing list, so everyone on site works from the same version.
Updated as the work goes on
Changes on site are recorded, and the as-built set is handed over with the completed work.
Drawing and detailing we do
- Architectural drawingsFloor plans, elevations, sections and door and window schedules, prepared from your brief and the approvals that apply to the project.
- Structural detailing and bar bending schedulesReinforcement detailing and bar bending schedules worked out from the structural designer’s drawings, so steel can be cut and fixed without guesswork on site.
- Shop and fabrication drawingsFabrication drawings for the items made in our workshop, with dimensions, materials and fixing details a fabricator can work from.
- Quantity take-off and BOQQuantities of concrete, steel, masonry, plaster and other items measured from the drawings, set out as a bill of quantities for planning and cost control.
- Site layout, levelling and retaining detailsSite layout and levelling plans for land development, with sections and details for retaining, gabion and compound walls.
- As-built drawingsA record of what was actually built, updated from site changes and handed over with the completed work.
Drawings and details are prepared to support the work and do not replace the design and approvals required for a project. Statutory approvals and structural design remain with the appointed architect, structural engineer and the relevant authority.
