What it is
Core civil and structural work is the body of a building: the RCC frame that carries it, the masonry that forms its walls, the plaster and gypsum that finish them, and the stone, gabion and compound structures that hold and bound the site.

- Block workBlock work and masonry forms the walls of a building. We build it to the drawings, line and level, and hand over surfaces that are ready for plaster.
- Plaster and gypsum workPlastering and gypsum work give walls and ceilings their finished surface. We handle internal and external plastering, and gypsum work where the project needs it.
- UCR masonryUCR stands for uncoursed rubble masonry, stone laid without regular courses. It is used for foundations, retaining and boundary structures and for infrastructure on hill and river sites.
- Gabion wallsA gabion wall is built from wire-mesh cages filled with stone. It is used to retain earth, hold a slope and control erosion, and it drains water through the wall.
- RCC structural workRCC means reinforced cement concrete: steel reinforcement cast inside concrete to form the columns, beams, slabs and foundations that carry a building.
- Architectural stone claddingStone cladding covers walls and features with natural or natural-look stone, for entrances, boundary walls and landscaped areas.
- Compound wallsA compound wall marks and protects a plot boundary. Built well, it also holds soil, controls access and sets the first impression of a site.
