Safety policy: zero compromise, zero harm

If the site is safe, the work is efficient, consistent and trustworthy.

At Pratik Enterprises, safety is not an added step. It is the base of every activity we perform on site.

We strictly follow all applicable Indian laws, rules and safety norms, along with the requirements of the local authority wherever we work, and industry-standard construction safety practices.

Our focus is practical, disciplined implementation that protects our team, the client’s assets and the surrounding community.

  • Safety norms followed across India
  • All applicable Indian rules and local authority norms
  • Industry-standard construction safety practices

Our four safety principles

  • Mandatory training

Regular safety briefings, toolbox talks and basic safety training for all workers and sub-contractors, so everyone is aware and prepared.

  • Dedicated supervision

Trained supervisors actively monitor site safety, identify risks early and make sure all tasks follow approved procedures.

  • Safety gear and equipment

We provide appropriate PPE to every worker and keep machinery and tools well maintained for safe daily operations.

  • Proactive risk prevention

Controlled site movement, organised work areas and consistent monitoring help us prevent incidents before they occur, protecting both people and property.

Why site safety also protects your schedule and budget

An incident stops work, triggers inspections and can put a project weeks behind. A site that is organised and supervised avoids that. It also keeps rework down, because careful, controlled work is usually accurate work.

That is why we treat safety as part of how the work is planned, not as an extra step added at the end.

Risks that come with the work we do

Different kinds of work carry different risks. These are the areas our supervisors watch most closely.

  1. Work at height

High-rise block work, plastering and external finishing happen above ground level. Briefings, supervision and the right equipment apply here first.

  2. Excavation and backfilling

Land development and foundation work involve open cuts and moving earth, so controlled movement and clear working areas matter.

  3. Handling heavy material

Blocks, stone, gabion cages and fill are heavy. Organised stacking and safe handling prevent injuries and damage.

  4. Machinery on site

Heavy machinery works close to people. Well-maintained equipment and controlled site movement reduce the risk.

Questions worth asking any contractor about safety

  • Who supervises safety on site, and how often are briefings held?
  • Is protective equipment provided to every worker?
  • Are sub-contractors covered by the same briefings and rules?
  • How is site movement controlled around machinery and open areas?
  • Which local authority requirements apply at the site?

You are welcome to ask us these about your own project.
